Take-Along Trio

Are you looking for a really fun, quick, zippered pouch to make?  This is a great one for you then!  If you have any leftover quilted fabric, that's another bonus for you!

These pouches were featured in the Better Homes and Garden Quilts and More (Summer 2015) edition, when we saw them we knew we had to make them!  The pattern has three different sizes, we made two different sizes and they are both very practical.

As soon as they are done being store displays they might find their way to my house!

Here's an example of the three sizes, these would make great makeup bags, storage for your phone accessories, possibilities are endless.  (Image taken from Better Homes and Garden)

Did I mention there are tons of cute projects in this magazine? This wasn't the only project I would make from this magazine, there are now two others from here on my wish list!

Up Parasol Baby Quilt

Posted on March 06, 2015 by Jenn Thurston | 0 comments

I'm not sure if I have mentioned just how much I love this Up Parasol line by Heather Bailey!

You might recall that I have made a quilt from this fabric before, rectangles in all their glory.

The fabric screams spring, I absolutely can't get enough of all these nice warm colors!  Just gorgeous....

I went with the Lacy Swirls, one of my favorite quilting designs!

Very easy pattern, just strips sewn together and then cut in blocks with sashing in between.  What a easy, quick quilt to make!

This quilt measures 36" x 36", the perfect baby size quilt.  If you're interested in purchasing this quilt, we have it for sale in our gift shop.

Rectangle Bloc Loc

This quilt was so fun to make!  We have a class that will teach you everything you need to know!

The fabric line is called Up Parasol by Heather Bailey, and let me tell you - it is even more beautiful in person!

The technique is simple, and using the Rectangle Bloc_Loc Ruler made this quilt super fast to complete!

I can't believe I'm the only one missing spring right now… if you are too, go ahead and check out this beautiful Up Parasol fabric (you're welcome).
