This sweet table runner is called Seaside. If you're looking for a really simple and quick table runner, this is for you! For being angles, one might expect it to be tricky to sew. Well, it's not, not tricky to sew at all.
If you've never used one of Jaybirds patterns you should put it on the top of your list. Her patterns are fantastic! They are well illustrated, easy to understand, in fact I have never found an error in one... not one! This pattern also features the Sidekick Ruler, which I absolutely love! There are so many cute patterns that use the Sidekick ruler, you'll never run out of uses for it.
The fabric we used is called Chantilly by Lauren + Jessi Jung. I love their fabrics, they always have such beautiful, crisp lines.

It's no shock that I am head over heels with BasicGrey's new line Fresh Cut. It is so light and cheerful, the perfect color pallet for spring!
The pattern we decided on is called Glimmer by Jaybird Quilts. This pattern utilizes the Super Sidekick Ruler; although you are not required to have this ruler to use the pattern. The quilt goes together surprisingly quick!
I mean seriously, whats not to love about this fabric line! Gorgeous colors as well as subtle prints, a very versatile line.
The quilting is a tighter swirl than what we typically used, I think it goes nicely with the quilt pattern.
The hardest part was deciding what colors and prints to use in each layer of the star. I might do things a little differently the second time around but I have to say I'm quite happy with the effect and fabric placement.
For the backing we used our left over strips from the front and used a Moda Bella Solid for the majority of the backing.
