Angie and her mother did the Farmer's Wife pattern. They hand cut all the pieces instead of rotary cutting them. That must have been quite an experience for both of them. I am so happy rotary cutting has been invented.

Saturday, April 11th, 2011 is the ECA Quiltmakers' Club's Community Quilt Show at the Lucile Tatum Center in Gastonia, NC. We have had a great time doing some of the quilting for the entries into the show, including Sandi's quilt show submission.

In April 2011, we made a commitment to the Japan relief effort (original blog post). For every quilt that was purchased from this website or our Etsy store, we would donate a quilt to the Call for Quilts for Japan campaign. Here are some pictures of the action!
