Here are some pictures of Vicki's submissions to the ECA Quiltmakers' Club's Community Quilt Show at the Lucile Tatum Center in Gastonia, NC.
Alot of quilts are made for family members, and this one is no different. Ok, well, maybe the difference here is that this is a 4+ month overdue Christmas present for Tylor (David's nephew).
The bright colors of the four-patch snowball matched with the Moda Bella Solid black makes this a 'stand-out' quilt - perfect for when Tylor needs to warm up, or evade the impending invasion!
(Psst.....more pictures to come of it quilted - very cool design...check back!)
Saturday, April 11th, 2011 is the ECA Quiltmakers' Club's Community Quilt Show at the Lucile Tatum Center in Gastonia, NC. We have had a great time doing some of the quilting for the entries into the show, including Sandi's quilt show submission.

In April 2011, we made a commitment to the Japan relief effort (original blog post). For every quilt that was purchased from this website or our Etsy store, we would donate a quilt to the Call for Quilts for Japan campaign. Here are some pictures of the action!
Our good friends over at Nathan Smith Ministries have been partnering with churches in Africa since 2004. Each year they coordinate several teams that travel abroad to support the AIM Mission Station in Kijabe, Kenya. Team members are equipped with a book bag to use during their trip, and we have the privilege to make the patch they use signifying their trip. Nathan just dropped off 16 of the bags for us to get started with!
For more information on their journey, and for an opportunity to support their cause, check out http://www.nathansmith.org/loveafrica/.
